Major oil resource upgrade
Despite some recent hiccups on its Cambay field in India, Oilex last week announced a major increase in estimated oil, gas and condensate reserves within the field. This is very significant in our view, as it highlights the potential commerciality of the field, which Oilex and its partner will test through drilling over the balance of 2007. We believe Oilex can achieve field commerciality by the end of the year.
